EXPERIENCE, INTEGRITY, QUALITY Len Corcoran Excavating (LCE) was founded in 1962 by Len Corcoran when he purchased a Case bulldozer -used of course- that he ran onsite all day and fixed at home in his garage every night. Len quickly developed a reputation as an honest, hardworking and very skilled machine operator. As the demand for his skills grew he gradually hired a few staff. The rest, as they say, is history. Current owner and President, Dan Corcoran, has been participating in the work at LCE since he was big enough to reach the machine controls. Since taking over control of day-to-day operations in 1995 the company has grown exponentially to become one of the most recognizable names in the Kingston-area construction industry. Dan Corcoran has worked hard to establish LCE as a company that can be relied on to deliver a world-class product on-time and within budget. Site personnel are taught to focus on delivering results and will work with the owners’ representatives to overcome any of the inevitable challenges that emerge onsite. LCE believes companies have a duty to behave responsibly protecting not only their own profits but also acting to enrich the lives of their staff and giving back to community initiatives. LCE participates in numerous charity events and Dan Corcoran personally volunteers his time as a member of the University Hospitals Fundraising Committee. Dan Corcoran is the current 1st Vice-President and Kingston Rep for the Ontario Sewer and Watermain Association along with being a Past President of the Kingston Construction Association.
